First of all, to everyone who has made a donation, or purchased a fundraiser shirt, we could not be more grateful. It means a lot that so many are so willing to support Sebastian.

If you are not aware of what we are referencing, our own Sebastian Rose has been selected to represent Team USA at the 2024 IWF World Youth Weightlifting Championships in Lima, Peru later this year. He is 1 of 4 males, along with 7 females that qualified for the team that will be competing against the best Youth lifters in the world, age 17 and under.

We have just received the competition expense notification from USA Weightlifting, and we are needing to raise $4,500.00 to make the trip possible. USAW is not providing any financial support for this trip. Now that we know the full cost, we are stepping up our fundraising efforts, and asking anyone and everyone that has the means, to donate to this cause.

There are multiple ways to help. We still have a few t-shirts left for purchase. Direct contributions to our non-profit are tax-deductible. We are also doing a 50/50 raffle, where half the proceeds go to the winning ticket, and the other half goes to the trip.

We also have our annual Lift-A-Thon coming up in April, which is open to anyone, not just HWC Team Members.

The trip costs are due by the end of March, so time is of the essence. We will be eternally grateful for anything anyone can do. If you are unable to support financially, please share this with everyone you know. Friends, family members, co-workers, businesses looking to sponsor a non-profit, etc.
